Field to Fork: Hunting Workshop
Charlevoix Conservation District
Hunting 101: There are no stupid questions!
If you want the ultimate in free-range, antibiotic/additive-free meat then sometimes you just have to do it yourself. Field to Fork, an initiative of the Tip of the Mitt branch of QDMA (Quality Deer Management Association) will teach you deer hunting basics to help you live more sustainably. Learn the basics of hunting, start to finish, the benefits of hunting, the important tie hunting has to conservation and ecosystem sustainability before committing to the sport.
Field to Fork is seeking interested participants who are new to the world of hunting. Tip of the Mitt branch of the QDMA's Field to Fork initiative is gauging the community for folks who would like to learn what is needed to source your own local meat in the form of deer hunting. We encourage interested parties to contact the district office or the information located below to register or express your interest in this program & workshop. Two dates are available to meet, join us for this Hunting 101 workshop when it fits your schedule, or just let us know you're interested in the program but can't make these times.
