Sloths almost spend their whole lives hanging on the treetops, some may sleep 15-20 hours a day. Sloths are becoming endangered animals, because they have little protection. Sloths live in Central and South America. There are now many sanctuaries across Costa Rica nursing these animals who were hurt or orphaned.
