Wesley Woods Miother's Day Offering
On Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 12th, we are asking you to make a special gift to Wesley Woods. The North Georgia area has the fastest growing aging population in the country, yet has been named as one of the least favorable places to age, with a lack of affordable housing being one of the key factors. Wesley Woods, a ministry founded by the United Methodist Church, has addressed these issues with benevolence assistance, pastoral care and wellness programming to older adults living in one of 10 communities across North Georgia. Please, prayerfully consider how you can bless this ministry with your offering. You can also text “MOTHER” to 243725 or give online at mothersdaygift.org.
BABY BOTTLE CAMPAIGN
This Sunday, May 12th, begins our annual Refuge Pregnancy Center Baby Bottle Campaign. Refuge has an average of 1987 client visits per year providing services such as pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, child care supplies and more. All services are free to the client because of community support like yours. You can help this organization by filling up a baby bottle with change, bills or checks. Pick up your baby bottle in the Narthex, fill it up, and return it to the church by Father’s Day, Sunday, June 16th. If you have any questions, please contact Sally Barfield.
