8th Grade Picnic

Are you interested in donating to the 8th grade picnic, end of the year celebration? We are looking for fruit or vegetable trays to serve during lunch. Please contact counselor Erin Wagner, for more information.

2016 Washington D.C. Trip - Final Preparations

Reminder the paperwork for Washington D.C. mentioned in last week's email needs to be submitted by Wednesday May 4th. Hard copies were sent home with all students last week. If you did not receive hard copies or could not access the electronic copies please contact Mr. Lax, or 812.314.3883. Accessing the electronic copies is easiest by clicking "View in Web Browser" at the top of this email. This will display all of the attachments necessary. We apologize for any confusion with last week's message.

Reminder that we will be having a pre-departure meeting on Monday, May 9th to cover last minute details and answer any questions parents or students may have. The meeting will be in Northside's cafeteria at 6:00 p.m. and should last no longer than 1 hour.

Is your 7th grader interested in going to Washington D.C. next year? - Time Change

Washington D.C. May 2017. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, May 4 for parents of current 7th grade students interested in going to Washington D.C. in May 2017. The meeting will be in Northside's cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. and should last no longer than 1 hour. Please note the time change. Student attendance is optional. Early Free/Reduced Lunch Application Open House

Parents can apply early for next school year on July 14, 2016 at 3 locations and their applications will be processed prior to the first day of school! One less form for busy families to complete!

ESL assistants, FS Office staff, and a representative from SNAP will be on hand to help families complete their meal eligibility forms or apply for other assistance.

Summer Camp Opportunity

Ivy Tech will be hosting an Advanced Manufacturing Summer Camp here in Columbus for all current 8th graders. This camp is three days long and is completely free.

There is a mandatory parent meeting being held on May 2nd at the Advanced Manufacturing Center. This is an opportunity for parents to learn more about the camp and how it will operate.
