HFRCS Newsletter SY2021-2022
January 18, 2022 - Vol.1 Issue 22
From the Principal's Office
Dear Parents and Guardians,
January 30 begins the nationally celebrated week of Catholic Schools Week. Each year, Catholic schools around the country celebrate the uniqueness that is Catholic education. Here at Holy Family, we look forward to a week filled with special experiences for our students that make our school a magical place to learn! This year, our Catholic Schools Week theme is: “Our Magic Kingdom-Holy Family Regional Catholic School, where dreams come true!” Please see the attached schedule that highlights the many daily themes and activities that our students will be enjoying each day of the week.
Our Catholic Schools Week festivities begin with attending Mass at our respective sponsoring parish communities – Queen of the Universe and St. Frances Cabrini. Our faith is the foundation of all that we do here at Holy Family, and while we enjoy celebrating Mass as a school community, we are looking for our students to come together at the same time in their parish to celebrate Mass with the parish community. On Sunday, January 30, as Catholic Schools Week begins, we are asking students from Queen of the Universe to attend Mass at 11:30 and students from St. Frances Cabrini to attend Mass at 11:00. Please see the SignUp Genius links in this newsletter to volunteer to participate or to indicate that you will attend. Students should wear their winter uniform to Mass and should proudly share with their parish community their Holy Family pride!
Along with Catholic Schools Week, we also begin our enrollment season for the 2022-2023 school year! Our school uses Continuous Enrollment, so all enrolled students are automatically considered re-enrolled for next year. If you know of a family that is interested in attending our school, please refer them to Jim Downey, our Enrollment Director! Remember that there is a referral incentive of $200 for families that refer another family, and that student(s) enrolls!
We are looking forward to a fun and exciting Catholic Schools Week!
Sincerely Yours in Christ,
Mrs. Haggerty

Catholic Schools Week (CSW) begins on Sunday, January 30. To celebrate the opening of CSW, we are holding a special mass at St. Frances Cabrini at 11:00 am and at Queen of the Universe at 11:30 am. We are hoping for great participation from our families and students. We are asking students to dress in their school uniform (polos with pants/skirts/jumpers are fine, but NO GYM UNIFORMS).
We are also looking for students to volunteer to participate in the mass, or come to help before the mass:
For Queen, please use this Sign Up Genius
For Cabrini, please use this Sign Up Genius
If your child is not interested in participating, but you are attending the Mass, please RSVP on the Sign Up Genius. Thank you in advance for your attendance!

A new date for the 2022 Open House has yet to be decided but enrollment for the 2022-23 school year will be opening in the coming days. I'd also like to remind our families of the HFRCS Referral Program. For referring a new family to Holy Family Regional, the current school family will receive an incentive payment of $200 off their child’s tuition. Please note that there is no limit to how many times you can receive a referral credit so don't be afraid to spread the word about Holy Family!
If you have any questions about the looming enrollment process or anything concerning the 2022-23 school year, please do not hesitate to contact our office. Have a great rest of your day and thank you!

Bridge Education Foundation Volunteer Service Reminder
Dear Parents and Guardians,
With a new year upon us, I wanted to remind you that volunteer service hours are now due if you received a Bridge Grant in the last year. If you are involved in any number of activities such as Home & School, CYO, service to the parish, school or broader community, those hours will likely count towards the 40-hour requirement set by the Bridge Foundation. The Bridge approved volunteer form is attached and should be completed and returned to the Advancement office by Monday, January 31, 2022.
If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your assistance.
