Book Fair Success!
Thank you to the PTO for bringing the Book Fair back to DDE.
It was a great success!
UPDATE ON STAYING HYDRATED!
All water fountains are open and available to utilize or fill water bottles. In addition, we now have a water bottle filling station outside of the cafeteria! We encourage students to continue to bring a refillable water bottle from home to stay hydrated during the school day. Bottles of water are also available for purchase during morning bagel sales or in the front office during the school day for $1.00.

TECHNOLOGY ISSUES?
HOW TO REPORT A STUDENT ABSENCE DURING A PANDEMIC
- Your child's name
- Grade
- State the reason for the absence with specific symptoms. NOTE: Students with symptoms consistent with Covid-19 will be excluded from school per the NJDOH guidelines.
REGULAR ABSENCES
All other absences must be followed up with a parent/guardian, or medical note. The note must include child's name, date of absence(s) as well as reason for the absence. For your convenience, you may use the District Attendance Note containing approved excusable absence reasons.
LUNCH
As a reminder, students may remove their mask once they have their lunch and seated at a desk. Once they are finished eating, masks should be put back on.
