Student Pick Up and Drop Off
Please be aware of the signage in front of the high school. Fire Lane: No Parking, No Stopping, No Standing. Violators will be ticketed. Student drop off before school should occur on the north side of the campus or in the front of the school (only before 7:00 a.m.) and pick up after school should only occur on the north side of the building. The front drive is designated for buses only after 7 a.m. and after school, and parents should not be using the student parking lot for picking up or dropping off their students. Thank you for your understanding and we appreciate your cooperation.
Culver’s Cares
Please join us on Tuesday, January 15, for our Culver’s Cares Night! Ms. Gelhausen and Mr. Lewis will be serving you from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. and Mr. Zuck will be there to serve you from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you and thanks to our friends at Culver’s for supporting KMHS!

Kettle Moraine High School Information Night for the 2019-2020 School Year - SAVE THE DATE
The course planning and selection process for the 2019-20 school year is fast approaching. A Course Information Night will be held at Kettle Moraine High School on Monday, February 11, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Students and parents will have the option to meet with teaching staff and dual credit partners, inquire about new courses or attend an optional presentation of the course selection process in an auditorium. Mark your calendars for this event, more detailed information will be sent as the date draws closer.
The Infinite Campus course registration window will open on Monday, February 11, 2019 at noon. Students do not need to participate in the information fair in order to register for coursework. Course selections will need to be completed by Friday, February 22, 2019 3:00 p.m. All course selections are processed equally once the course registration window closes, not in the order in which they are received.
Counseling Corner
ACT EXAM - All KMHS Campus 11th Graders
All Kettle Moraine High School Campus 11th graders are scheduled to take the statewide ACT Exam and the ACT WorkKeys. The ACT exam will be administered at KMHS on February 20th and the WorkKeys will be administered on February 21st. There is no cost for students. While students will have a modified schedule to accommodate the test, there will be no change to normal arrival/dismissal (7:20 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.) times.
Registration materials and specific test details will be provided to students during January and February home advisory sessions. Please look for further communication in the month of January.
Test Prep Information
Take advantage of a winter ACT Prep course being held on campus through Wisconsin Test Prep. The 7-week class will start in January and is offered on Wednesdays or Saturdays. This is great preparation for juniors who will be taking the ACT on February 20. In addition, a spring session will be offered in April. College and Career Readiness Night - SAVE THE DATE
The KM Counseling Department will host a College and Career Readiness Night on Monday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m. This event is recommended for ALL sophomore and junior students and their parent/guardians. Families will have the opportunity to meet post high school representatives, as well as the option to attend three choice breakout sessions. Session topics include the post secondary process, workforce trends, financing college education, tips for writing a quality personal statements, and more.
Junior Parent/Guardians - “Planning for Graduation and Beyond” sessions
Junior parents that have attended our Planning for Graduation and Beyond sessions can find the powerpoint and links here. Additionally, the presentation will be given on the College and Career Readiness Night, Monday, March 11 at 6:00 p.m. During this session, the following topics will be reviewed: Academic and Career Planning process, college entrance testing, 11th and 12th grade planning timeline, and Financial Aid options.
Higher Ed Admission Applications
Seniors, be mindful of your upcoming application deadlines. Applications may open prior to the school year.
Official transcripts are sent through Parchment. We encourage students to use the Step by Step Instructions as a reference to create an account and to place a transcript order.
Official ACT results are sent through www.actstudent.org.
The KM Foundation Scholarship
The application is now open to all KM seniors planning to pursue a post-secondary education. The online application can be found here. Be sure to review all requirements. Applications are due to the Counseling Office by March 15, 2019.

Spring 2019 Operating Referendum Information
The Kettle Moraine School Board has approved a resolution that gives residents the opportunity to determine additional support for the district through a five-year, non-recurring operating referendum on the April 2, 2019 ballot. This referendum will allow the school district to maintain staffing to deliver the excellent programs and services our community expects. KM Lax Blast - February 2
