7th and 8th Grade News
Week of May 2nd
It was a lot of fun to see you guys at the Spring Fling on Saturday! I hope everyone had a good time and went home as tired as I did! Here's what we got this week:
FIELD TRIP THIS WEEK - STILL NEED CHAPERONS!
We have our field trip to the Pacific Science Center this Friday! WE STILL NEED CHAPERONS AND I DO NOT HAVE ALL PERMISSION SLIPS YET! Along with forms, I've only received payment from 7 out of 18 students. I would like everyone to go, but those who do not get in their permission slips by this Thursday will not be allowed to attend the field trip.
Also, we would like to have parent chaperons so that we can split up into groups instead of traveling everywhere as a class. This way, students can get to visit the exhibits they like and don't have to follow Mr. Farias' schedule (except for when we meet for the Lase Light Show and IMAX).
MAY CROWNING ON THURSDAY
This Thursday's Mass, we will be celebrating the May Crowning for our Blessed Mother Mary, and we are asking that all students bring in some flowers to decorate and celebrate her at Mass. There will be a huge Flower ceremony and so we would like every student to participate.
CINCO DE MAYO POTLUCK THURSDAY
Along with flowers, the school is having a sort of potluck lunch on Thursday to celebrate Cinco De Mayo for the kids. 7th and 8th grade parents were punt in charge of beverages, so please have your student come with beverages. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BRING A DISH, BY ALL MEANS, PLEASE DO SO. It's better to have too much food than not enough. :)
Any questions, comments, or concerns can be emailed to me as always.
