Veterans Day Celebration

We are excited to announce we will again have our drive-by parade honoring Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 9th from 9:30-10:30. Veterans will meet in the Splash Station parking lot. They will be escorted in their cars around our school building while students will display their patriotism and cheer for their veterans. At the end of the parade, veterans will receive a complimentary treat and beverage. We ask that veterans remain in their cars at all times and enjoy this celebration. No invitation is necessary!

We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, November 9th!!

For Pick up and drop off on November 9th

We need your help! If you are picking up or dropping off your child on November 9th from 9:30 am- 10:30 am, we need for you to utilize the parking lot and walk up to the door. This is due to our Veterans Day celebration. THIS IS ONLY FROM 9:30-10:30! WE WILL BE DOING OUR NORMAL DROP OFF AND PICK UP FOR ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL!

Faculty Favorites

Each year we field many questions wanting to know "What is Mrs. So and So's favorite snack or favorite place to shop?" We have received feedback that having a compilation of all the faculty's favorite things on hand for gift-giving purposes would be useful. The link below will take you to lists of our staff's favorite things.

Please know that NO one is asking for gifts, NOR are they expecting a gift! This is simply meant for you to use as a reference, and doing so is totally voluntary!

October Scholars of the Month

We are happy to announce our Scholars of the Month for the month of October. One student per grade level is chosen by the teachers as Scholar of the Month. Congratulations to the following students:

Kindergarten- Trinity Lawerence

I am super excited to announce that Miss Trinity Lawerence is our Kindergarten Scholar of the month. Trinity is kind, hard-working, and always up for a challenge. Trinity is a friend to everyone she meets and always has a smile on her face. Trinity is one of the hardest workers and she is growing by leaps and bounds. I love that I can always count on Trinity to make strong choices. Even when no one is looking. She is simply a joy to have in class. Way to go, Trinity!

First-Grade- Ellie Alexander

I am excited to announce that Ellie Alexander is October’s scholar of the month for 1st grade! Ellie is such a hard worker! Not only is she a hard worker, but she has shown perseverance in the classroom when faced with new challenges. Ellie is a responsible model to others and makes strong choices even when no one is watching. Ellie is kind to all of her peers and is one of the first friends to lend a helping hand! Way to go Ellie! Keep up the hard work!

Second-Grade- Liam Schaefer

Liam is an excellent student. He truly represents what it means to be a Peine Panther. If there is a problem, Liam can help solve it! He is great at thinking outside of the box, being a good friend, and being very respectful. Keep it up, Liam!

Third-Grade- Hunter Cantwell

Hunter Cantwell is a hard worker. He tries his best on all of his assignments. Hunter is self-motivated and thorough. He will help others in the classroom when needed. He also works really hard to make great choices to be respectful and kind towards adults and other students. Hunter also makes the choice to be a leader within the classroom. He is not influenced by what others do, he sets the example of what to do.

Fourth-Grade- Katherine Decker

She is a model student! She works so hard! She always follows the Big 3: She is Respectful, Responsible, and Kind. She is a true model Panther because she always follows the Peine 25! She is dedicated to her work and doing the very best that she possibly can. Her greatness is displayed in the effort that she gives to every task! She gives her all: All of her focus, all of her attention, and all of her heart and soul, Katherine pours into her work. She is powerful beyond measure and I am so excited about all that she has to offer this world. The world needs more of the kindness that Katherine shows to all of her classmates. She is an absolute joy to teach and to have in the classroom!

Fifth-Grade- Elena Schroeder

Elena comes to school every day with a positive attitude and is ready to learn. She is an amazing thinker and not only works well with others but encourages them to challenge themselves! Elena is a wonderful role model for her peers and her enthusiasm and kindness are contagious! Great work Elena, keep shooting for the stars!

MTTS Update

This month all grade levels met with their buddy classes. It was such a neat experience to watch the students learn and bond together. This meeting involved discussing the importance of taking care of ourselves and a few fall activities! Buddy classes will meet every other month. The next pair-up will happen in December.

Our October Scholars of the month for the 2022-2023 school year have been chosen. It is a High Honor to be chosen as a Peine Scholar. Only one Scholar is chosen each month per grade level. A Scholar is someone that is always giving their best effort academically and socially both inside and outside of the classroom.

Teachers have also been excitedly giving out House Points to the students for all sorts of exceptional behaviors. Reveur is currently in the lead but it is a tight race! Let’s keep those points coming!

Remember that every Friday is House Day! Wear your House colors to show your school spirit!
