"Don't forget to wash your hands."
- solid advice from moms, dads, doctors, nurses & teachers everywhere
With Appreciation:
- There are some crazy big birds hanging out on campus - thanks Markus & Arty for taking care to scrub away their gifts each morning!
- Thank you to all of our CICO facilitators for starting a child's day off on the right foot!
- Our after school supervisors for helping to keep our kiddos safe during pick up time!
New News/Information
- We MUST be sure to lock the gate between the F and G building EVERY time you come through. Last week it was left open and ajar during the day. We have children on campus who might readily take advantage of that easy opening to leave campus!
- It is ESSENTIAL that someone at each recess has a radio. We use the radio to communicate if a child is being checked out or to ask urgent questions. It's also very helpful in the event that you have an emergency on the playground that needs office support.
- Please be sure to put the ball cart back in the PE equipment closet after recess/afternoon PE so that our equipment is not used by folks hanging out on campus after school. STAR uses their own equipment, so they don't need to borrow ours!
iReady Diagnostic Window - just a few days left!
Please have your students take the math and reading diagnostic anytime between now and 2/8/18.
The way it is currently set up, teachers will have to assign both the Reading and Math diagnostics to their students. Once you assign the Math diagnostic, students will be unable to access their online instruction until it is complete.
To assign the diagnostic, go to the "Assignments" tab in i-Ready. Choose "Reading" or "Math", then select the checkbox next to "Add Diagnostic Test", and select the checkbox next to "All Students".
Make sure to assign it for both Reading and Math.
Questions - let Will or Jen know!
Upcoming Meetings/Activities:
