Mr. Corso's Weekly Principal Update

Positive Raiders: Responsible, Respectful, Hard Working and Kind

BMMS is busy getting ready for students returning to campus. Our target date to return is March 15, but that date has not been confirmed. We will make sure we share when A and B Cohorts are confirmed to return. In the meantime, we realize some of our students have never been on campus. We made this video to help Raiders get more familiar with our school: LINK. We also made a video for students to get to know some of our staff on campus: LINK.

Check In Kiosk -Bring Your ID Card: Students who are on campus need to bring their ID cards with them. We will be checking students in through an electronic kiosk. This allows us to know who is on campus and who is learning from home. This information is essential in an emergency situation. Please help remind your student to have their ID card in their backpack. You may also want to take a picture of the ID card and put it in their binder or a pocket in their backpack. They can even take a picture of it on their own cell phone and show that at the gate. See this video to learn more...LINK

Bring Your Water Bottle: If your child is an on-campus learner, it would be helpful if they could bring a refillable water bottle with them each day. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our water fountains are turned off, but we have water bottle refill stations available for students.

Cameras On! Message to Students this Week: I sent the following to students this week...Cameras On! We love it! Students - we really appreciate that you are turning those Cameras On! Keep it going today and for the future. The video aspect of Zoom is important to build connections with the teacher and other students. If you have any concerns, please communicate with your teachers. We understand there may be some reasons students won’t have their cameras on and cameras should have no effect on anyone’s grade. All my best to you and your family, Principal Corso
