Sammy went with his father who was working as an entertainer in a dance troupe. He did his first act when he was 3 years old. He thought he was having a happy life but there were some challenges blocking that happy path. He had to go to war in world war 2 and had to face racism. But in November 1954,Sammy Davis Jr. almost died in a car accident and ruined his left eye. He was marred 2 times and had 3 sons and 1 adopted child.

On May 16,1990, Sammy died at age 64 because of cancer. He got cancer because he smoked for a very long time. He passed away at his home in Beverly Hills,California. Sammy joined with father for a long time and then he produced 2 albums in 1950 that made him famous and successful enough to be on the Las Vegas and New York headline. Sammy Davis jr. married a Swedish actress name Mary Britt on 1960.
