What to do in Sydney
There are many terrific things you must do in Sydney including riding the iconic Manly ferry while admiring the beautiful harbour. Another terrific thing to do in Sydney is visit the many famous beaches including Bondi beach, Manly beach and Coogee beach and after surfing, swimming and playing at these beaches you should climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Everyone at least has to visit Taronga Zoo and watch the many bird shows and other events there once. Another thing that everyone should at least once in their life time do in Sydney is visit the Royal Botanical Gardens where you could have a stroll around or have a picnic or party. At the Royal Botanical Gardens you could also go to a onsite restaurant and have the time of your lives. One destination in Sydney that is a very popular tourist destination is Sydney Tower Eye which is the tallest structure in Sydney and the second tallest observation tower in the Southern hemisphere it is 309 metres tall and you'll get an out door view point that's 268 metres high so I wouldn't recommending this to people who have a fear of heights like me. If you don't want to go on the Sydney tower eye which is 309 metres tall then you should go whale watching in the great big harbour. If your a fan of music and other that is related to it then you should go to the Sydney Opera House but don't worry if your not a fan of opera because the Sydney Opera House offers many more different types of performances. It was built to "Help mould a better and more enlightened community".

Some information about the past of Sydney
Sydney was founded in 1788 when the first fleet arrived in Australia from England. On 13 May 1787 the first fleet set sail from Portsmouth England. Onboard were about 800 convicts and marines to guard the convicts. The first colonists came ashore at Port Jackson on the 26th of January 1788. They were commanded by Captain Arthur Phillip. Sydney was named after Thomas Townshend - Lord Sydney who was the British secretary of state.
