A Fall Experience at Falling Branch!

When everything falls into place and life is gourd, grab a friend and meet up with other graduate students at Falling Branch Brewery. Join us on Saturday, October 14th at 1 p.m. and meet by the BrickNFire Pizza Food Truck.

Graduate Assistant for Student Development Assessment - Applications Open

If you are interested in assessment, this graduate assistantship opening may be of interest to you! The graduate assistants analyzes data using SPSS or R, codes qualitative data, and assists the student development division in assessment projects. The graduate assistant also serves as a member of the university's Research Consultation Group.

Leadership Opportunities

Graduate students are notorious for juggling multiple responsibilities and roles! Consider these ways to be more involved in the Loyola community:

  • Graduate Student Organization Programming Board
    Join us in brainstorming and planning graduate student events of interest to you. Our board members also attend pay events for free!

  • Graduate Student Representative, Academic Senate
    Learn and be a part of decisions and discussions among Loyola faculty and administrators. Be a liaison between the GSO and the academic community.

Graduate Student Podcast

Elana Gloger, a doctoral candidate at the University of Kentucky, created the Dear Grad Student podcast during the COVID-19 quarantine. While she is no longer updating the site, it has accumulated over 60,000 downloads/listens on topics all about graduate students! There are 81 episodes on various subjects, including this one that focuses on navigating failure, rejection, and imposter syndrome in graduate school and beyond. Give it a listen where you get your podcasts.
