The Service Learning Project is seeking motivated and creative individuals to help
make one-of-a-kind items for our community. This project is designed to provide
students with hands-on experience in making and designing epoxy tumblers, pens,
staplers, and sublimation items, while also raising money for a non-profit
organization in our community. Throughout this course, students will learn about
various techniques in the design process to create unique one of a kind items.
Students will work collaboratively in teams to brainstorm ideas, design prototypes,
and bring their creations to life using a variety of techniques and materials.
Alongside the creative process, students will also learn about the importance of
giving back to the community by selecting a non-profit to donate the proceeds from
the sales of their products. Students will develop critical thinking, problem solving,
and teamwork skills while also making a meaningful impact on their community.
Students will gain valuable experience in design and manufacturing, as well as a
deeper understanding of the importance of service and community involvement.
There will only be a limited number of students selected for this class. Please choose this if you have interest and someone will get back with you.
