5th Grade
What you will learn from this video
- Matter is a substance that has weight and takes up space.
- Matter can be identified through its properties like magnetism, density and solubility.
- Knowing the properties of matter can help you pick the right material for the job.
When you click on the DIY activity, there is a recipe and directions for making slime! But ask your parents first!!
4th Grade
What you will learn from this video
- The earth rotates on its axis every 24 hours.
- The earth orbits around the sun every 365.25 days.
- Earth’s rotation causes observable patterns like night & day.
- Earth’s orbit causes some stars to be visible only in certain months.
3rd Grade
What you will learn from this video
- Light travels in a straight line and reflects off of things.
- We can see because light reflects off objects and enters our eyes.
- Our eyes do not produce light, they only detect it.
2nd Grade

Unplugged Things To Do
Create a comic strip.
Use some of those EMPTY toilet paper rolls and CREATE.
Write down questions you'd like to ask the author of your favorite book.
Build a blanket fort and READ.
Create a poster to advertise your favorite book.
Keep a journal of this strange time in history.
