Summer School Credit Recovery: Eagan Academy
Registration now open
Busing is available (registration required).
Contact your student’s counselor if you have questions about which credits need to be made up.

Diffley Road School Area Safety Improvements
Due to the contractor construction calendar, there will be a closure of Diffley Road starting Monday, June 7. Detour Maps
We know that the earlier the construction starts, the better our chances will be of having construction near completion before students return to school on September 1.
Construction Began May 17!
Work Completed
- Erosion control was installed.
- Began tree and vegetation removal work
Work Planned
- Tree and vegetation removals will be completed next week (the week of May 24). Once removals are complete, grading work will begin.
- Pond excavation (the installation of a filtration basin to manage drainage) the week of May 24. This basin will be installed on the north side of Diffley Road between Daniel Drive and Braddock Trail.
- Private utility relocations on Daniel Drive and Braddock Trail will begin the week of May 24.
For the week of June 7 - 11 the contractors will maintain a gravel pathway as a crosswalk across Diffley Road on Braddock Trail. Please use care and caution as crossings are made. This will not be available starting June 14th.
Students in grades 9, 10 and 11 to Keep iPads/Hotspots Over the Summer
Students will again be allowed to keep their district-issued iPads and hotspots over the summer. This allows learning opportunities to continue throughout the summer. Exceptions include graduating seniors and students unenrolling from District 196. JOIN THE 2021 EHS SENIOR PARTY!

EHS seniors will have exclusive access
to rides, food, beverage, a DJ, fun and prizes on Valleyfair's Route 76!
Drop off and pick up at Eagan High School
All participants must take the bus to and from event.
Students may NOT drive on their own
*SENIORS NEED TO ARRIVE SATURDAY JUNE 5TH AT 7:30 P.M. FOR CHECK-IN.
They will then board buses, travel to Valleyfair, go through security, - and then the Valleyfair party happens from 9:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.
PLEASE PLAN ON STUDENTS RETURNING TO EAGAN AROUND 2:00 A.M. SUNDAY MORNING, JUNE 6TH.
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO PURCHASE TICKETS!!
Unlike previous years, tickets cannot be purchased the day of the event.
All tickets must be purchased by TODAY, May 14 - No Exceptions
We want ALL seniors to attend!
Full and partial scholarships are available.

Minnesota Youth Council
Applications for the Minnesota Youth Council for '21- '22 are open! The application is available for students grade 8-12 using this link and opening through May 31, 2021.
The Minnesota Youth Council mobilizes middle and high school students across the state to create equitable systems through youth led outreach, education, and advocacy. The MYC is composed of 36 Youth Representatives from throughout the state that works to amplify the voice and power of their peers across the state of Minnesota. Members of the MYC are change agents in their communities and across the state, leading the way with youth-centered systems change.

Books and Needed Materials Pick Up or Drop Off at EHS, Remains Open and Available
We have a large supply of school supplies and would be pleased to provide them for any student or family. Please let us know if a student needs to pick up a book, textbook or other items so that we can provide it for them. Call 651-683-6900. Additionally, the offices are open each school day and students may come into the building for assistance. Masks are required at all times in the building.
