Welcome to the 2022-23 School Year
Welcome to the 2022-23 school year! I hope that summer was filled with lots of opportunities to enjoy the sunshine, and spend time with family & friends. I am always filled with a little sadness as I see summer coming to an end, but I am also so excited to begin another incredible school year with you!
About Mrs. Knox
My name is Kelly Knox and if you are new to our Albrecht Family it is my sincere pleasure to welcome you! If you are a returning family, welcome back!
I look forward to beginning my second year serving as Principal of Albrecht Elementary. This will be my 15th year in education with my previous roles being a Title 1 teacher, a 2nd grade teacher, and an Interim Dean of Students.
My husband (Rob) and I live in Monroe with our two children; Jordyn (12) and Noah (10). I am also a stepmom to two older daughters, Kristine and Jenny, who are grown and living on their own now. As a family, we stay pretty active with sports and other youth programs and activities. We also love to go boating, swimming, and enjoy campfires with our friends.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
- West Side Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Please drive through the parking lot and keep your vehicle to the right to allow for all vehicles to enter/exit safely. Kids should walk to the front of the building for breakfast or stay outside and play on their designated playground.
- East Side Drop-Off/Pick-Up: Students must be dropped off on the school side of the street. Please do not park & exit your vehicle. Move your vehicle as far forward as possible to keep the intersection clear.
Please keep your vehicle out of the front parking lot between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m. This is meant for bus drop-off only.
- Should you need to enter the building during pick or drop off times, please park in the angled stalls marked 'Visitor' in the west parking lot.
- Keeping safety as our top priority during these high traffic times, students crossing through the front parking lot or crossing a street will be escorted by a crossing guard.
