As the president of a law firm which has a specific focus on mortgage modification negotiation, David Zak serves as a lawyer in Massachusetts. Focusing his practice on mortgage litigation, he helps clients obtain injunctions in court to enjoin foreclosures and encourage mortgage servicers to modify loans. David Zak founded his firm, Zak Law Offices, in 2007 after spending several years gaining valuable experience in various firms including Gargill, Sassoon & Rudolph, LLP (now Rudolph Friedmann LLP), Kliman Law Offices, P.C. and Everbank. He has since negotiated more than 600 loan modifications and handled hundreds of 93A litigation claims.

Throughout his career, Mr. Zak has received recognition for his work in the field. He was featured in a 2008 issue of the Boston Herald for the negotiation of a settlement between the Mortgage Specialists, Inc., and the Massachusetts Division of Banks and was recognized in 2011 by La Semana for reducing the mortgage payments of more than 400 families. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts state and federal courts. He received a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University and a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
