Starting Off Strong...
Parents & Guardians:
Next week, Mr. Olson and I will be meeting with all students to review school wide expectations centered upon academics and behaviors. Continuously throughout the year (monthly), we will conduct these types of meetings where we fine-tune and clarify these expectations, and look for feedback from the teachers and student body; it helps to keep everyone on the same page.
The month of September is going to be filled with lots of activities and learning opportunities. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns; it's imperative that we have a solid partnership throughout the school year.
Wishing all of you an amazing Labor Day weekend.

STEM Class News
Monday 8/27/18: ALL sixth grade STEM students will need duct tape for a quick project this month (September). One to two rolls of duct tape should be good as they will be working with partners. Please have by Friday September 7th.
(If anyone has extra duct tape hanging around cluttering up their drawers please send it to STEM for our kids.)

Meet Our New Staff
I have included short video profiles of our newest members of our faculty. It's always nice to put a face to a name and get a little perspective on who they are. Also, it was lots of fun to do. Enjoy meeting our new staff; they are doing an amazing job coming out of the gate.
