Starting Off Strong...

Big picture

Parents & Guardians:

I'm very pleased to inform everyone that we had an amazing first week of school. Our new 5th grade students acclimated very quicky and by day 2 they were fully entrenched in their new school. I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention how great our returning students were to our overall start, too. All in all, we are off and running and setting a tone for the learning journey that lies ahead.

Next week, Mr. Olson and I will be meeting with all students to review school wide expectations centered upon academics and behaviors. Continuously throughout the year (monthly), we will conduct these types of meetings where we fine-tune and clarify these expectations, and look for feedback from the teachers and student body; it helps to keep everyone on the same page.

The month of September is going to be filled with lots of activities and learning opportunities. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns; it's imperative that we have a solid partnership throughout the school year.

Wishing all of you an amazing Labor Day weekend.

Meet Our New Staff

I have included short video profiles of our newest members of our faculty. It's always nice to put a face to a name and get a little perspective on who they are. Also, it was lots of fun to do. Enjoy meeting our new staff; they are doing an amazing job coming out of the gate.
