News from Lions Park School
Letter from the Principal
Dear Lions Park Families,
The STEM fair was a special day at Lions Park. I was so proud of all of our students who participated. It was obvious that the children worked hard and learned a lot in creating their projects. Furthermore, many of them mentioned ways they were supported by parents, siblings and other family members. I hope these preparations created some good memories for your family.
We are glad to have so many IXL Olympic Medalists. Thanks to all who participated. These students are listed below. Even when students are not striving to earn gold medals, IXL is one of several online learning activities children can do at home. Our technology department recently updated the student resources page at this link. This page is now more consistent districtwide, so that it will be easier for students as they transition from Westbrook to Lions Park to Lincoln.
Early voting is now open. You can go to the Mount Prospect Village Hall to avoid lines. Details can be found below. Please take time to vote and let your voice be heard. As you know, there is a school referendum question last on the ballot that will have implications for our school in the years to come.
Warmly,
Katie Kelly
Principal
