Uganda
Come experience the tropical weather and exotic animals!
Uganda is located in East Africa between Kenya and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It's climate is very rainy with tropical weather and two rainy seasons.
English is the official language of Uganda. Young boys tend livestock while the girls care for younger siblings. Teen years are devoted to education, although most girls are forced to drop out due to pregnancy. Taboos include rape, murder, and drug use. Being faithful to your wife is an important value among the people. They also value friendliness and are against self-indulgence.
Two subcultures within the country are Christianity and Islam. Cultural diffusion is evident due to the different kinds of people such as Baganda, Karamojong, the Itseo and the Lango. The culture changed when the British came during the later half of the 19th century.
