PE/Health Test out Monday, May 24th
The PE/Health test out will occur on Monday, May 24th at 2:45pm in the main gym. The application can be found on the CJHS Counseling website, under the "Test Out Information" tab. A $10 deposit is due to the front office to Mrs. Blevins to hold your spot. This deposit will be refunded once you complete your test.
Study guides can be found on the CJHS Counseling website under the "Test Out Information" tab.
Deadline to apply is Friday, May 7th. If you have any questions, please see your counselor.

Below is a 30 day gratitude challenge to find happiness in your daily life. Each day either write down or think about the daily prompt. And if the prompt is about a person, we encourage you to reach out to them to let them know you're grateful!
Easter Seals Therapy Services Offered at CJHS!
Easter Seals and CCS are currently working together to bring therapy services to CJHS students! Easter Seals is already servicing two of our buildings and now will be extending into CJHS!
Therapy services are offered once a week for 30 minutes a session during school hours. Due to the current health crisis, therapy services are currently being done online via zoom. Students will have a private area in our building to meet with their therapist utilizing their CCS issued Chromebook.
If you're interested in your student receiving these services, please reach out to your students counselor now for more information.

"Oakland County Michigan Works! is launching a new, year-long series of free, virtual financial wellness workshops next month, to help people make smart decisions with their money.
Hosted by national, state and regional experts, the no-cost Financial Fitness workshops are open to anyone who is interested in better managing their finances. Subject areas include budgeting, investing, credit scores, paying for higher education, retirement planning, home ownership, elderly care and more."

Could your student benefit from individual tutoring? Is your teen ready to take driver's training? Interested in having your child or teen get involved in extracurricular activities? Clarkston Area Youth Assistance may be able to help! Scholarships are available to help cover the cost of skill-building activities such as tutoring, Driver's Training, and extracurricular activities for families who income-qualify.

Alma, Michigan
Alma College is a private liberal arts college in Alma, Michigan. It enrolls approximately 1,400 students and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. It offers bachelor's degrees in multiple disciplines as well as the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in creative writing.
