Athletes of the Week - April 18-24
Sarah McLeod - Freshman, Varsity Softball
The Varsity Softball team went 4-0 last week including 2 wins over Royal Oak and a win over Troy. For the week, Sarah led the team with eight hits and batted .500 with six RBIs, and five runs scored. She also went 2-0 on the mound, beating Troy in a Wednesday night thriller and topping Royal Oak in the second game of a DH on Saturday. Sarah also played stellar defense leading the team in assists defensively.
Hayden Stevens - Sophomore, Varsity Baseball
Hayden was very strong at the plate for the Trojans in their last 3 games last week. He's 6 for 7 with two walks, three RBI's, and three runs scored. He has been strong while pitching in relief against Lamphere and Sterling Heights. He started strongly on the mound against Tower on Saturday until a forearm issue took him off the mound, but he stayed in the game where he played second base. For the season, Hayden is hitting .429 with 13 RBI's.

HS Girls Basketball Meeting - April 27
All girls interested in Summer basketball for high school should attend our meeting on Wednesday, April 27 during Seminar. We welcome our current 8th graders - incoming 9th graders - to attend as well to get all the information needed for Summer Basketball.
HS Spring Sports Picture Day - April 28
Team Picture Day for all Spring Sports is on Thursday April 28. Coaches will be handing out picture forms this week. Families can also order online at www.vsnmichigan.com/preorder. Schedule is below:

3rd Annual Judy Hackey Softball Tournament - Sat April 30
Come out to the City Park on Saturday April 30 for a day full of softball fun. The Clawson Varsity softball team hosts the 3rd Annual Judy Hackey Softball Tournament starting at 9am.

Middle School Team Picture day will be Monday May 10.

HS Football Meeting - May 12
All students (8th-11th grade) interested in joining the CHS football program, please plan on attending the Spring Roundup Meeting on Thursday, May 12 at 2:45pm in the CHS Media Center.
Athletic Boosters' Golf Outing - May 14
All student-athletes in High School and Middle School must have the following in order to participate in athletics at CHS and CMS:
- Current Physical (dated on or after April 15, 2021)
- PlanetHS.com account (click here for video on how to do this)
- Athlete Code of Conduct (on PlanetHS.com)
- Pay to Participate
