Vanderbilt IFC Newsletter
October 2014
Hello!
Welcome to the Vanderbilt Inter-Fraternity Council's first monthly newsletter. Contained in this bulletin is a list of what our men's Greek organizations have been up to for the past month. Enjoy!
Lights on the Lawn 2014
Vanderbilt's Greek men teamed up with VPB, VSG, Project SAFE and a number of other on-campus organizations to raise over $100,000 for the Mary Parrish Center, a local non-profit that provides transitional housing and therapeutic support to victims of sexual and domestic abuse.
IFC Inclusivity Agreement
In a move unparalleled by any other campus in the nation, an agreement has been signed to affirm that all men, regardless of race, culture, sexuality and socio-economic status, are welcome in our community. Included in this plan is the creation of a Greek Allies Program, which seeks to provide infrastructure to ensure inclusivity.
Greek Week of Service
The entire Greek community has teamed up in the fourth week of October to complete hundreds of combined hours of community service, including an all-IFC event for freshmen recruits and active members.
