Oak Ridge Family Focus
November 10th Edition
Veterans Day
Thank you to all of our Oak Ridge family members who have served. We know that learning at school is a privilege that not everyone experiences around the world. We know that without your sacrifice we may not be able to enjoy these opportunities. So from all of us, thank you for allowing us to learn and grow every single day.
Wear Blue Thursday!
As part of our goal to bring awareness to various disabilities and health conditions this year, our focus for November has been diabetes. This Thursday, November 14th people around the world will join together to bring awareness to diabetes care and prevention. We ask that everyone wear blue on Thursday as we celebrate World Diabetes Day. Please see here for more information on World Diabetes Day and resources and quizzes you can take.
5Essentials Survey
The Illinois 5Essentials Survey provides an opportunity for parents, students, and staff to share specific information about their school. The survey information is part of the school report card. In NPD117, we use this information in our continuous improvement process.
If you have children attending more than one school, we ask that you complete the survey for each school.
To take this short survey:
- Visit https://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/
- Type and select “Cook” as "County."
- Type your child’s school name into the "School" field and select your school.
Thank you in advance for your input.
