Science Academy would like to welcome the Hidalgo County Sherriff’s Office, who beginning September 1 will provide additional daily security presence to our Mercedes complex.
Reminder that all Science Academy students are required to have their ID on them and visible while on campus and when boarding an STISD bus.
All vehicles parked in staff and student parking lots are required to have a parking permit visibly displayed. Vehicles without a parking permit are subject to being towed.
Students, please see Ms. Trevino at the SAIL front office if you need a parking permit.
It's Picture Day; dress your best!
All STISD campuses and offices will be closed on September 4th due to Labor Day.
College Shirt Thursday! Show your pride; wear your favorite college shirt!
Counselors will be meeting with Seniors through EDD Class on September 5th and 6th to review college information.
In order to better serve your child, South Texas ISD would like to identify students who may qualify to receive additional educational services under the migrant education program. If you believe your child qualifies, please contact Mrs. Talavera at 956-565-4620.
Please reach out to our counselors if you are having negative thoughts. You matter more than you will ever know.
Students must sign up for college visits via TEAMS or they will not be allowed to meet with them.
Disclaimer: The QR code to register for TSI will open 1 to 2 weeks before scheduled TSI tests.
Don't forget to wear your ID everyday.
