Sycamore Junior High Family Communication

December 9, 2022

Connection. Preparation. Experiences.

Sycamore Families,

Happy Friday! We want to take a moment to share with you the awesome things students impressed us with this week. We saw many acts of kindness, helping hands, and leadership skills. Students this week sold out the School Dance that they planned. Students served on our STAR council with Superintendent Lewis and discussed solutions to issues that they identified during our lunch period. We saw students engaging with Office Otte (SRO) on this weeks newscast (linked below). Overall, we are seeing students step up and lead with a kind heart and clear mind.

Each day we are reminded how amazing your children are and we want to say that we know it takes a village and we are so happy to be a part of yours! Thank you for trusting us with your kids and allowing us to share in their learning and learn from their leadership.

-Mrs. Schunk, Mr. Meyer, Mr. Cole

Support OGB

Sycamore Bridges is excited to partner with Operation Give Back to help fill their annual Holiday Store for the third year in a row! Sycamore Bridges and OGB recognize the added financial struggle for many of our neighborhood families around the holidays. OGB is gearing up to provide assistance to over 900 children and their families this holiday season. We created a gigantic Amazon Registry to make sure every child receives something they requested. This list will be updated frequently, so please check back often! Just select the "Sycamore Bridges" shipping address when checking out and your gift will be sent directly to us. (If you would like a tax receipt for your purchase, please send an email to sycamore@neighborhoodbridges.org. Receipts will not be emailed unless requested.) Thank you for your continued support in making sure all of our neighbors have a memorable holiday season. Amazon Registry
