The Constitution

The Constitution explains the beliefs and laws of a country. George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and James Madison were three well known and respected leaders. They helped write the Constitution. On September 17, 1787 they completed their work. They had writen a new plan for the United States Of America. The people , not a king, would rule the new, independent nation.

Amendment 1 Religion

This amendment lets African American people go to the church they want to go to. Also the school they want to go to. It gives them much more freedom than back then. That amendment was very special to those people because now they get to go where they want to go. Also that right made a really good change in their lives. Those people love the freedom that they get now.
