Harmon Open House - Bring Your Appetite!
The PTO has arranged several food trucks to be here for you to purchase dinner and flavored ice - a percentage of all purchases will benefit Harmon's PTO!
Important Information for Parents/Guardians of Harmon Students
8:40 am to 3:30 pm - Doors will open at 8:30 am - No students will be allowed to enter the building before 8:30 am.
LUNCH is $2.65, Free/reduced lunch applications need to be completed and turned in every school year. You can find this application on Pickerington.k12.oh.us, or pick up a paper application in the office. If you were on free/reduced lunch last school year, you still need to fill out a new application, your student will need to either purchase a lunch or pack a lunch until your application is processed.
Bus Times and Bus Stops
Bus pickup times and locations will be mailed to students approximately 2 weeks before the first day of school. If you have any questions about your particular address, please call Peterman Transportation at 614-837-8525.
2017-2018 Middle School Fees
School fees can be paid online through your Infinite Campus parent portal, by check, credit card or cash during the open house.
5th Grade Fees
- $22.00 ($6 Science Supplies, $10 Literacy Consumables, $6 Technology Fee)
6th Grade Fees
- $29.00 ($6 Science Supplies, $6 Technology Fee, $17 Springboard)
Chromebook Insurance Coverage is $35 for the 2017-2018 school year.
Chromebook Pick Up for 5th Graders and NEW to the district 6th Graders will be Thursday, August 10 at Diley Middle School, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Parents may pick up Chromebooks without their student. CHROMEBOOK INSURANCE FEE MAY BEPAID ONLINE THROUGH YOUR INFINITE CAMPUS PARENT PORTAL - NO INSURANCE FEE PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED THIS EVENING.
Returning 6th Graders will be given back their Chromebooks from last year during the first 3 days of school.

6th Grade Outdoor Education Camp Dates & Parent Information Meeting
There will be a parent/guardian meetings with Mrs. Harris, Harmon's Camp Coordinator, and a Heartland representative on Tuesday, September 5th at 6:00 pm in the Auxiliary Gym. This meeting should be approximately 45 minutes.
Strike Up the Band!
The Harmon Sixth Grade Band is gearing up for an exciting year! Sixth graders will need their instruments for class starting the week of August 21, 2017.
- Trumpet, Trombone, & Baritone will meet on Monday/Wednesday/Friday
- Flute, Clarinet, Percussion will meet on Tuesday/Thursday/Friday

Orchestrating Success
ORCHESTRATING SUCCESS
The Harmon 6th Grade orchestra starts soon! Each orchestra member will need his or her instrument starting the week of August 21, 2017. Mrs. Stephenson and Mr. Koogler are so excited to teach all of you the joys of playing a stringed instrument!
Violin/Viola students have class Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Cello/Bass students have class Tuesday/Thursday/Friday
