FHS CONFERENCES - APRIL 12TH
We will be meeting for in-person conferences this spring! Please come through Door 1 (main entrance) to receive your student's schedule and map to navigate your way to the media center and cafeteria, where staff will be located. We ask that each conversation stay within a five-minute time period to allow for staff members to reach as many parents/guardians as possible. If you need more time, please schedule a follow-up with the staff member at another time.
If you are unable to attend conferences on this date, we encourage all families to reach out to their students' teachers. You will need to know your students' teachers which is accessible through INFINITE CAMPUS PARENT PORTAL. You can find their contact information by visiting our STAFF DIRECTORY on the school's website.
Join us for our upcoming spring play!
A MURDER MYSTERY - WHO DUNIT?
When powerful millionaire Victor Winslow, producer of a popular T.V. soap opera, invites members of the cast and crew to his mansion for a party, none dares refuse. Winslow informs his guests that he has assembled them to help him develop a new murder mystery game he's invented called "13 Past Midnight." But before the game begins, the host gives the players ample motives to want to kill him - for real! But the game becomes deadly when Victor is discovered stabbed in the neck with a dart, and Pete Griffin, a private investigator hired to act as a consultant, must try to trap the murderer before he or she can strike again. Filled with laughs and chills, Thirteen Past Midnight will make your audience think twice before accepting an invitation to a murder mystery evening! The performance contains mild adult themes.

FHS Music Department - Trip to LA!
FHS Band & Choir students flew to sunny Los Angeles, California over Spring Break! Students participated in clinics and workshops, saw the Hollywood Walk of Fame, enjoyed a day at the beach in Santa Monica, and got to spend two days at Disneyland and California Adventure.
Thanks to everyone who participated in our fundraisers to send students on this trip – it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for all of us!

NUTRITIONAL SERVICES UPDATES
FREE STUDENT MEALS AT FHS
Nutritional Services is providing free breakfast and lunch to all students this year according to the USDA waiver for the 2021-22 school year. Please encourage your student to try a new menu item or to eat meals with us. Menus can be found on the district web site.
Please note that all students are required to take a 1/2 cup fruit or vegetable at breakfast and lunch per the USDA regulations. If your child just wants a milk to drink with their cold lunch, that has a cost of $0.55 and your student needs to have money in their lunch account. Students must also have money in their lunch account to purchase Ala Carte items at the Middle and High School. Cash or check can be turned into the school's main office or given to Kathy Backstrom in the District Office or paid online using a credit or debit card on the Campus app or website.
Even though breakfast and lunch are free this year, we still have families with an outstanding meal debit from previous school years. Please check your students lunch balance and it you have questions, please contact Kathy Backstrom at 763-502-5021.
