EWRSD NEWSLETTER
November 2021
MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
Dear EWRSD Community:
It is hard to believe that almost three months have passed since we started a new school year! As a district, we are thrilled to have all of our students back in school. Despite some initial challenges, it has been tremendous for students to engage in opportunities for in-person learning, authentic social interactions, and an array of extracurricular experiences. Our teachers, administrators, and staff have continued their ongoing commitment to nurture welcoming and engaging learning environments, in an effort to support the academic and social-emotional development of our students.
This digital newsletter is intended to convey the strong sense of community that thrives within each of our schools. As we approach Thanksgiving, I encourage us all to express gratitude, celebrate family, support one another, and continue to maintain a sense of collective optimism, as we look forward to the remaining months of the school year.
Sincerely,
Mark Daniels - Superintendent of Schools

Pride at the Perry L. Drew School is sky-high as we enter the third month of school. Students have been coming to school prepared to learn while keeping safety in mind. Taking on the challenges of a full day of school, students have shown they are dedicated learners. The staff has continued to make learning fun in every room of the Drew School. Between the fun is serious learning but when the assignment is to build a new bridge in STEM class it is definitely more fun to learn! Our PTO and parent volunteers continue to amaze with their dedication to every community member of Drew. The PTO continues to find new ways to help the school thrive. Together, an outstanding community is put together and ready to help the next generation be the best!
