INDEX
HOW IT WORKS
WHAT DOES IT DO?
In a nonfiction book, monograph, a more or less detailed alphabetical listing of names, places, and topics along with the numbers of the pages on which they are mentioned or discussed, usually included in or constituting the back matter. A simpler form of a definetion is... The index is an alphabetical listing of vocabulary and the page number where those words are found.
HOW THEY ARE
SOME ARE CHILDISH
The index to this would most likely be short because its a lower leveled book and the vocab isn't as strong as a lot of other books.
SOME EXPLAIN
This book is its own index it already explains the words that it has because its a dictionary and also its in alphabetical order.
SOME ARE HUGE
The index in this book is probaly just a dictionary with a list of pages to the side of the book since its the worlds largest book. Since its so big I would honestly not make a index if I were to be writting it.
