Town of Sunnyvale - Feb. 23, 2022
For the safety of Town employees and due to the weather and road conditions, Town Hall will close at 3 p.m. today, Feb. 23.
Town Hall will remain closed until Town administrators are able to reassess road and weather conditions. A decision will be made by 12 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24.

Please call 9-1-1 for true emergencies only during this time. It is imperative that the system does not become overloaded with non-emergent calls, so that our first responders are available to respond to actual emergencies.
Oncor is closely monitoring and actively preparing for the arrival of the weather that is anticipated to bring freezing temperatures and wintry precipitation.
Resources and personnel are being pre-positioned ahead of the weather to ensure any necessary restoration work can begin as soon and as safely as possible.
Oncor is not expecting any major power issues related to the weather that will be moving through Sunnyvale. The current weather predictions are calling for no more than 1/4 inch of frozen precipitation on power lines. Power lines are typically affected by 3/4 inches or more.
