Congratulations to our Academic Team for their performance in the state championships last Friday. They won easily against Williams Middle School in the semi-final round and then came up short by just one point against Indian Land Middle School in the championship round. It literally came down to the last question of the match! We are very pleased with the success of these students this year and how they represented Clinton Middle School! The team members included Jackie Alcudia, Madison Edgins, Gemma Gearhart, Ella Kate Haupfear, Sam Hunt, Salaam Jenkins, Jacob King, Matthew King, Ty Medlin, Ada Tiller, and Marlee Williamson. Way to go, Wildcats!

We are having the 1st annual Clinton Middle School Concert Band Festival this weekend. The 7th and 8th grade bands will be working jointly with a guest conductor who is someone they have not had an opportunity to work with before. It will be a concentrated effort to rehearse three selections and present a concert at 11:45 Saturday morning. This is very much like what students do when they go to the Limestone Band Clinic or Region Band and All State Band. This opportunity will give the students a taste of what they can do in a concentrated format, have some fun, eat pizza, and be inspired to go to one of the other events mentioned above in the future. The short concert at 11:45am on Saturday is open to the public and all are welcome to attend!

Now that the weather has become a little colder we thought you might be interested in purchasing a CMS Wildcats Hoodie (or T-shirt because we all hope that it warms up just a little). The Hoodies are a great way to show support for our students and stay warm while attending winter sports. We have sizes available ranging from Adult Small to Adult 3XL (currently we are out of Mediums in Hoodies). Hoodies cost $20.00 and the T-shirts cost $10.00. If you would like to purchase one please click on the link to complete the attached Order Form and bring payment to Mrs. Wood in the Library. Cash and Checks made payable to CMS are accepted. Sizes are available on a first come first serve basis.
