District update on COVID-19

Updates from Jenny, our Superintendent, resources, and information. https://www.cadott.k12.wi.us/

THE BIG QUESTION..... WHAT WILL THIS YEAR LOOK LIKE?

We are going to start the Weekly Buzz newsletters a few weeks early this year! Our plan is to give you update on what changes you may see this upcoming year. Like everything these last few months we have had to think outside the box and make adjustments to our "normal" routine. We are excited to see kids back at school, but also have to maintain the safest environment for students, staff, and the community. If you have any questions please feel free to email Mrs. Goettl at goettlt@cadott.k12.wi.us.

Thank you for your flexibility and understanding as we move forward together.

Virtual Open House

Students first day of school will be September 1st. This will be a normal day of school, meaning buses will run and school will start at 8:25 am for students only (parents will not attend ).

How is this Different?

-In past years our first day of school we host an open house. We welcome students back with parents to meet teachers, community members and sample some delicious lunch food options.

How will it change?

This year we will be publishing an open house website on August 24th. You will receive a notification regarding this event. You will be able to visit grade level websites, learn about your students teachers and see their classroom setting. We hope this change is helpful and you can make it fun with your family in the comfort of your living room!

Picture Day update

On Sunday Lifetouch had sent out an email regarding Cadott's Picture day. Due to the recent mask mandate we have postponed picture day. We are hoping to reschedule in the future and will let parents know ASAP, when a decision is made.

How will you get information to the office, i.e., bus notes, parent pick up request, ect.

Due to cross contamination we will no longer be using class envelopes to transfer information from student to classroom teacher to office. If you have a change in busing procedure, a request to pick up students for appts., or any other information you feel would be important for the office to have, we ask that you contact the office via phone or email (provided below) and inform us of those requests. These requests are okay to leave on our voicemail as we check voicemail regularly.

Student Pick up "call in" adjustments

In the past our call in for pick up was at 2:45 pm. This will be a change this year as well. We will not be accepting any change to pick up routine after 2:00 pm. Ways to make that change will be via email or phone and again these messages can be left on our voicemail.
