Tuition and Fees for the 2022-2023 school year

The finance council has approved tuition and fees for the 2022-2023 school year. The tuition and fees for the coming school year are as follows:


Tuition (Kindergarten through Grade 8): $7,565

Technology Fee: $350

Reregistration by 3pm on January 28: $225 per student

Registration after Jan. 28 or for new students: $325

Pre K 3 Tuition: $3678


New next school year, we will offer an option of a full day PreK program for our four year olds. We will share information about this option with our four year olds as they register. The cost for the full day 4 year old program will be $3160. This covers the cost from 12pm-3pm daily.

It is time to secure your child's spot at St. Joseph Catholic School.


  • All families PreK 3 through seventh grade will receive a link to complete the online application in the next few days. This online application MUST be submitted by Friday, January 28th at 3pm. Please keep in mind that families with delinquent financial accounts will not be eligible to reenroll.
  • We will use FACTs to bill and collect the registration fee for all students. By Tuesday, January 18, you will receive notification in your email that you have been billed the discounted reregistration fee of $225 per child. We will schedule this payment to be come out of your account through FACTs on Friday, January 28th. If you do not wish to make this payment through FACTs, it is your obligation to reach out to Mrs. Brown via email no later than 12 noon on Tuesday, January 25th. Payments will not be able to be stopped after noon on the 25th of January.

I thank you for your patience and cooperation as we continue to navigate through this peak in covid cases. Please understand that we are doing our very best to handle this situation. The policies and protocols are out of our hands, particularly the control of our our office staff. I strongly request that you treat our hardworking office staff with compassion and respect, even if you don't agree with the protocols that we are required to folllow. We are very hopeful that this spike will dwindle just as quickly as it came upon us.

a week of dress down days

If your child is ever on a device, you owe it to your family to attend this very important seminar. Unintended Consequences is the best hour you will spend! All students, whose parents attend this seminar, will receive a week of dress down days. We are offering babysitting for SJCS students only during the seminar. Dinner will NOT be provided. *Due to the content of this seminar, children may not attend.

Taste of Achievement Gala

St. Joseph Catholic School is looking forward to our annual Gala fundraiser. We are excited to continue to continue our them of Celebrating Our Culture. We would like to invite our St. Joseph families to come celebrate our diverse community and cultures.


The Taste of Achievement Gala will be on Saturday, February 19, 2022. This is the school's largest fundraiser. Every penny raised will go towards the improvement of our school facilities. In the past few years, the Gala proceeds have helped fund a new roof, made improvements to the classrooms, and added new air conditioning units.


We hope you are making plans to join us at this year's Gala. The Gala committee is planning an exciting night including silent auction baskets, live auctions, raffles, dancing, great food, and much more.


We are inviting families that would like to represent their culture by providing food/tapas for the event. If you would like to, please contact the committee with any questions and to reserve your place at the Gala.


We are also looking for families with new and exciting experiences or vacation homes for our live auction. We are happy to help and look forward to a great night out while raising funds for our school. Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask questions. progress reports

Today, parents of students in kindergarten through grade 8 are receiving progress reports. We are midway through the second trimester. Students in kindergarten through grade 5 will be bringing home a hard copy. Parents of middle school students should watch for an email this afternoon with the current grades for each subject area. If you have any questions about your child's academic progress, you should reach out to the teacher.

Our SJCS Concert Choir will sing the National Anthem at the Lakeland Tropics Soccer Game on Friday, January 21st. The game begins at 7:05pm at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland. Admission is free. All families are invited to come support our choir and enjoy a game with your SJCS friends and families. See you there!

Please remember that we need to hear from you whenever your child(ren) is absent. Please call the school office and report your child's absence by 9:00am. The prompt when you call will guide you to leave a voicemail. If we don't hear from you, office staff will attempt to call you. Please help our office run more efficiently by calling the school by 9am. I appreciate your help with this.

field trips and fingerprints

We are approaching the time of year when many of our classes enjoy field trips. Please keep in mind that all chaperones must be fingerprint cleared through the Diocese of Orlando. If you plan to join your child on his/her field trip, please be proactive and ensure that your prints haven't expired. You can email Mrs. Roberts at sroberts@ stjosephwhschool.org if you would like confirmation that you are cleared.

School holiday

School will be closed on Monday, January 17th in honor of Marin Luther King's Birthday! Enjoy the long weekend with your family.

altar servers

If your child has been trained to altar serve at St. Joseph Catholic Church and is interested in serving for weekend parish Masses, please email Mrs. Ochoa at tochoa@stjosephwh.org.

Catholic Schools Week Masses

We will kick off Catholic Schools Week by having students participate at all masses on January 29th and 30th. If your child is interested in reading or altar serving, please email Mrs. Haas at thaas@stjospehwhschool.org.


Mass times are as follows:

Saturday, January 29th at 4:30pm.

Sunday, January 30th at 7:30am and 11am.

Alumni Games

All SJCS Alumni are invited to join us in our gym for an Alumni Basketball Game on Tuesday, February 1, at 6pm. This is typically an event for our high school students to come back, celebrate Catholic Schools Week with us, and catch up with friends from SJCS. This is open to all alumni, not just those students who played basketball when they were at SJCS. If you are interested in attending, please email Coach Edwards at ledwards@stjosephwhschool.org.

plastic bags needed

Please start saving plastic grocery bags, the ones you receive from stores such as Publix and Walmart. We will need these plastic bags for a schoolwide service project during Catholic Schools Week. You may start sending them in with your child(ren) next week. We will need thousands of bags, so everyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

Family Movie Night

We hope you are making plans to join us for Family Movie Night on Friday, February 4 at 6:30pm on our soccer field. We will be showing the movie, Luca. Everyone is welcome.

grandparents day

We are looking forward to a fun Catholic Schools Week and will be sharing plans with you next week. We have made the decision to postpone Grandparents Day. It is our hope that we will be able to invite grandparents to campus at a later date. Thank you for your understanding.

vaccination status

If your child is fully immunized, it would be helpful to have a copy of his/her vaccination card on file in the school office. Once students are identified as being exposed to a positive individual, we will need proof of full vaccination before the exposed student can return to school. If we already have the card on file, this will just expedite the process. If you are interested, please submit a copy to the office at your convenience.
