Each month the staff will nominate students in each grade level that meet the criteria below both in and out of the classroom. Only one student is selected for the grade level recognition. Students may be nominated more than one time during the school year.
Criteria for nominating a student:

Kindergarten
Maxine is described by her teacher as, "the epitome of an Eagle ACE". She is kind and caring to the point that influences others to follow her lead. Maxine is responsible in the classroom and completes her work on time and is always ready to learn. Maxine is a natural but quiet leader and willing to help others.
First Grade
Elliot is friendly, a great classmate and makes ALL students feel welcome. Elliot is quick to help other student clean up spills or other items that may need to be picked up. Elliot is also very helpful and kind to adult staff. Elliot is a very hard working and asks excellent questions to further his understanding.
Second Grade
Eli is a student that does a great job following rules and expectations. Eli goes above and beyond to focus and listen to his teacher. Eli pushes himself to work hard and be the best student he can. Eli is kind to his classmates as well as his teacher and other adults. Eli is a hard worker and works well with his classmates.
Third Grade
Isabella is known as a very positive student, no matter what the class is working on. Isabella encourages other students and helps her classmates to be positive. Isabella completes her work on time and offers to partner up with students that do not have a partner. One teachers described Isabella as, "kind and funny and makes the classroom bright".
Fourth Grade
Tommy has built his confidence to a whole new level this year. Tommy completes his work with pride and participates in the classroom with amazing insight to several discussions. Tommy is responsible and helpful as he cleans up around his area and will also help clean up around other student's desks. Tommy has a great attitude at school and was called, "a TRUE ACE".
Fifth Grade
Leif Subba
Leif is known to be quiet, yet a leader and hard worker. Leif asks for extra problems or wants to do more if the work load is not enough. Leif is respectful in the classroom and outside during recess. Leif is a great classmate as he frequently volunteers to help staff and students. Leif is a positive voice in the classroom and has a great attitude.
