Student Awards
We are continuing the tradition that we started last year in recognition of our students following the core values of RMS. These awards include, “R” Accepting, “R” Responsible, “R” Engaged, Be Romeo and The Heart of the Bulldog. The students who showcase these will be honored in team meetings the final week of the school year for all grade levels during the school day. Students will also be recognized for their academic achievement with honors certificates. All students that achieve a 3.0 or higher GPA will receive their honors certificate in the mail with their report card. Report cards will be mailed home the week following the last day of school.
For our 8th graders we will be recognizing all students in their accomplishments during their career at RMS. The “Last Blast” will take place on June 10th, the final day of the school year. Activities will be held during the day with the final event taking place in our gym. In the gym we will have a couple of guest appearances and honor the next step for our 8th graders moving into their high school career. 8th grade parents are welcome to join the celebration starting around 10 am in the main gym and help participate in the clap out as our 8th graders exit the building.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and the counselors and social workers at RMS want to encourage all of you to "Be Kind To Your Mind". The end of the school year can be a hectic and overwhelming time for many, but please know that we are all here for you and that it is okay to ask for help. Please reach out if you need extra support or just need someone to talk to.
