UPDATE FROM MR. FOECKLER
Dear Parents,
We made it through our week of Orientation Days! This was such a wonderful way to start the year for both the students and for the staff. This important time allowed all of the staff to focus on your child and get to know them socially, emotionally, and as learners. Teachers also had time to practice some of our daily procedures and routines for both in-person and virtual learners.
For In-person students there was time spent helping students navigate the wearing of masks, frequent hand washing, and learning to watch our distance. CLICK HERE to see some great pictures of our first week of learning!
Next week some important information to think about:
Virtual Students have a Materials Pick Up date set for Tuesday, September 8 from 4:30-7:30. Please see the email from your child’s virtual teacher for the locations, maps, and directions.
In-person and virtual students will all be in attendance beginning on Tuesday, September 8th. Teachers will be looking forward to seeing their entire class in front of them.
In-person, the drop off and pickup procedures will need to be followed carefully, this will help with the process of getting into the building safely and home safely.
We will be sharing a Run/Hide/Fight Presentation on Tuesday, September 8, having a lock-down drill on Wednesday, September 9, and the StopIT Presentation on Friday, September 11. Here are the associated letters with more information: Run/Hide/Fight Letter / Lock-down Letter / StopIT Letter

ATTENDANCE FORM & NEW PROCESS FOR ALL ATTENDANCE NEEDS!
It is essential to note that attendance is now reported using THIS FORM. The attendance form is also located as a button on the main school webpage and under the “Parents Information” section. This form will require you to enter your child’s six-digit student ID number and birthdate before you can report your child absent. Student specific medical information collected by the form will remain confidential and only be shared within the health and nursing services team. This form was designed to help us rapidly assess possible cases of COVID-19 so that we can mitigate the spread of the virus. After completing the form, you may receive a follow-up phone call or email from one of our health and nursing services staff with either follow-up questions or additional information.
This attendance form should be used to report ANY attendance need for any date(s)!

SCHOOL SUPPLY LISTS
One common question right now is, "Are school supplies the same for VIRTUAL students as they are for IN-PERSON students?"
- For 4K-5th Virtual: We have trimmed down the in-person school supply list and linked up a "Virtual" supply list to each school's supply list document.
You can find links to all school supply lists on this page here.
