Happy New Year!
2018
Reminders
*Please assist us with making carpool an efficient and safe process. Pull all the way up before stopping to unload your children in the morning. Be sure all students enter/exit the car on the curb side. Please allow our patrols to assist them with entering/exiting the vehicle so you do not have to get out. This slows down the process.
*If you are changing your child's transportation, you must send a note with a parent signature to your child's teacher or the front office.
*There are no early dismissals for students after 2:45 p.m. If it is after 2:45 p.m., you will need to wait until they are dismissed as usual.
*All visitors on our campus, at any time of day and for any length of time, must check in at the front office and receive a badge. This is a safety concern. Even if we know who you are, please follow the standard procedure.
General Announcements
- Thank you to all who contributed to the monetary collections for various staff members prior to the break. This made their Christmas extra special and let them know how much we all appreciate them.

There will be Chick-fil-A meals on sale. The cost is $5.00 (cash or check). You may choose between a Nugget Meal or Sandwich meal. Meals include chips and water.
Please join us on Tuesday, January 23 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. for this fun filled cultural event!
Odyssey of the Mind
It’s that time of year again when Odyssey of the Mind teams are coming down to the final weeks of preparation to go to the Regional competition.
Right now we are seeking volunteers. Each team has to provide a ‘judge’. We need help finding two judges, and if our teams can’t find someone, we can’t participate.
The judges’ commitment would be:
2/10 – half a day of training (in Houston)
2/24 – half a day of judging at the regional tournament (at Waller HS)
4/14 – full day of judging at the state tournament (in Houston)
In Odyssey of the Mind, judges are treated like royalty, and are fed for free and given many ‘thank you’ cards. There is a table set up at the tournament where students create ‘thank you’ cards to show the judges how much they are appreciated.
