Dear Parents,

You should have received a letter about the Reproductive Health classes that are scheduled for this week Thursday and Friday. If you didn't, please check your child's backpack or email us so we can send you another one. Please sign and return it if you don't want your child to participate.

English

This week students will be reading about Hercules and then creating their own Quest Story. Students who didn't finish the vocabulary activity last week should turn it in on Monday.

We will continue our unit on Culture this week. Students will be learning about different cultures around the world.

Math

This week, students will continue to work with finding equivalent fractions. Students will also continue to work on rates and unit rates. Now that the MStep and NWEA testing is finished, we will focus on the ratios, proportions, and percents unit. Students will be spending time on IXL for practice. Please make sure that I-pads are charged for class.

Science

We are continuing our Wave Unit. We are learning about how waves are classified and the characteristics of waves. Students have notes and diagrams to help them prepare for the quiz they will have early next week. Quiz is tentatively scheduled for 5-24-16. We will also work on a review sheet this week to help them prepare.
