Wanetah Benn Davis Scholarship
The Elizabeth River Chapter of Les Gemmes, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the Wanetah Benn Davis Scholarship. The chapter will award one scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00 to a qualified high school senior. The eligibility criteria for the scholarship is described in the application.The student must pursue a degree from an accredited college or university. The deadline to apply is May 20th.
Joseph's College of Cosmetology
Joseph's College proudly announces their new $2,000.00 Scholarship! This scholarship is available for all first time applicants that begin their studies by August 2017. 2018 High School graduates can also receive this scholarship by enrolling by June 1, 2017. No gimmicks, no confusion, and no wondering if you could get a better price!
We award $500.00 in each academic quarter. Recipients must maintain an 80% average in academics and attendance to be eligible. Click here to go to the Joseph's College Website for more information on how to apply.
AITP Omaha Scholarship Committee
The Omaha chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP), in partnership with AIM, is offering several scholarships to help further the education of students who are planning to attend or continuing to attend a college, university, community college, or technical school in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, North Dakota, or South Dakota, with the goal of achieving an associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. The instructions and application forms are available at www.aitpomaha.org. All applications are due by June 1, 2017.
Josephs College in Lincoln
To honor the late Bruce Nims, owner and co-founder of Joseph's college, we are offering a Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is valued at $5,000 and is for all students that start in our April, May or June class at our Lincoln campus only. We proudly honor the spirit of his personality, professional accomplishments, and unique vision.
This scholarship is available to ALL students that enroll. They would need to start in our June 14th class to be eligible. The scholarship is awarded in 2 payments of $2,500 at the end of each academic year if an 80% in academics and an 80% in attendance is achieved.
