Pre colonial cities
In early established colonies, cities were built around a central area. Others were built on hills- an example is Tenochtitlán.
These kind of cities often follow standardized plans. There are laws that act as an outline. When compared to precolonial cities, these have wider streets and public squares and lower densities.
