School Events Week Dec. 15th

Holiday Concert, 4th Grade Party, Boutique Sale, etc.

Holiday Concert Dec. 17th at 8:45am and 1:30pm

Dear Parents,

We are invited to the show that's at 8:45am. Yesterday, we received our red tickets for the morning show. Please present them at the front door. We cannot exceed the maximum capacity of the auditorium due to fire regulations so please trade tickets with another family if you cannot attend the show for which your class is scheduled.

Our class is wearing festive shirt under black or dark colored zipped up or buttoned up sweater and black (dark colored) bottoms. Kids will take off black jackets/sweaters for a second song.
If you have a small guitar you can bring it in to be used in a song. If you have no guitar, please don’t worry about it. Kids will still have fun performing.

Please watch the street signs if you are attending the
morning show as there is Wednesday street sweeping/no parking at 10:00. We
have arranged for $7 parking at Le Montrose hotel at the corner of Cynthia
and Hammond if you can't find street parking. There's street sweeping at 10:00 on Wednesdays on a lot of streets around school, so it might be safer to park in the Montrose or at a meter on Sunset. The concert is supposed to be 52 minutes and starts at 8:45 am so it SHOULD be okay but you never know.

Support 4th and 5th Sacramento and Catalina Island Trips

We're selling raffle tickets for an iPad mini before the holiday shows on Wednesday to support the 4th and 5th grade trips to Sacramento and Catalina Island. The winning ticket will be drawn during the second performance and you need not be present to win. Tickets are for sale for $5 each or $20 for 10 starting at 8:00 at the table in front of the auditorium. Coffee and pastries will also be for sale in the morning.

Secret Santa on Thursday, Dec. 18th

Our class is doing a "Secret Santa" this Thursday, December 18th. Kids received who their “Secret Santa” is as well as a list of suggestions. There's a gift limit of $10-$15 limit/cap. It will be a fun present exchange. Kids are very excited!!
