To promote awareness for the Drug Free Red Ribbon Week, the student body of

W. G. Sanders Middle School presents: Red Ribbon Week Spirit Day Themes

October 25, 2021 through October 29, 2021

The 2021 Red Ribbon Week Theme is “Drug Free Looks Like Me”.

Monday, October 25 - Dress to Impress!

The 2021 Red Ribbon Campaign Theme is Drug Free Looks Like Me™. On Monday, dress to Impress as you show us the uniqueness of you: a unique hat, a unique outfit (follow dress code), special shades, special shoes, or whatever is unique about how you let all know, "Drug Free Looks Like Me."

Come on Tigers, Dress to Impress in the Uniqueness of You!

Tuesday, October 26 - Don't Tie Me Down!

Don't get tied down with drugs. Show your freedom with special tie dye colors or a necktie.

Wednesday, October 27 - I'm A Survivor!

Wear camo style or colors to show support to those who are fighting against drugs and cancer.

Thursday, October 28 - Rally in Red!

Wear red for Red Ribbon Week.

Friday, October 29 - The Fight Continues!

Wear your pink Breast Cancer Awareness shirts or pink colors and join us for the Annual Walk for Life.

2021 Walk for Life

Staff and students will participate in our Annual Walk for Life event as we walk around the campus.

After the walk, participants can purchase a $3 ice cup from Z's Cool Me Down. This is a fundraiser event for our Fight Against Breast Cancer!

Thanks to all parents/guardians for helping us grow and lead.

Attendance Matters!

Congratulations to our Perfect Attendance Students for the First Marking Period!

We had so much fun making ice cream sundaes to celebrate perfect attendance.

For our next celebration, we are decorating cupcakes! Come to school every day in November and join us for the celebration!

Big picture

Connect ED Library Card Partnership | Richland Library and Richland School District One

Richland Library and Richland One have partnered to provide a library card for every student in the district. This project is part of the nationwide initiative: Leaders Library Card Challenge.

A parent/guardian must complete the online form for their child if under 13.

Middle and High Students | A library account has been created for every student using their Student ID number. The PIN is the last four numbers of your student ID number. These accounts do not need to be activated; they are live and ready to be used.

Find the latest information about available library services at RichlandLibrary.com.

Note

· Parent/Guardians of middle and high students were given the option to “opt out” of this partnership during school registration. Accounts were not created for students who “opted out”. If you do want a library card, you can apply for one using the online form: www.richlandlibrary.com/librarycard. It will be a normal library account, not a Student ID account.

· For any questions about the ConnectED program and these library accounts, contact Richland Library:
