Spring Events
PSSA Information
Third grade has a lot of fun and exciting events coming up!
Third graders will be taking the ELA PSSA on April 25, 26, 27th and the Math PSSA on May 2nd and 3rd.
We have been busy preparing the students all year for these assessments. Students have been utilizing test taking strategies and calming techniques to ensure they feel prepared.
Each morning the students will get a muffin and milk. During this time it important that students eat breakfast, get a good nights rest and charge their Chrome Books. Students will be completing the PSSA on their Chrome Books. Students will be keeping their Chrome Books here at school and charging them daily during our testing window.

Good Sportsmanship Day- June 1st, 12:15-2:15
This year in third grade the students learned various strategies to incorporate good sportsmanship independently. Third grade will be going over to Shaffer Park to play a variety of games to display our good sportsmanship strategies. We are looking for four volunteers from each classroom. Please email your child's teacher if you are interested in volunteering. You must be an approved volunteer.
Third Grade End of Year Picnics- June 5th
On June 5th we would like to have class picnics and games to wrap up a wonderful school year. Your child's teacher will be in contact with you in the near future with specific details.
