Checking Students Out
Office staff will conduct all signing in and out of students. Parents may call to check-out students and then the student is sent out to the parent with visual identification. For in-person checking out, once a student is checked out, the parent will go back to their vehicle and the student will be sent out by the office. School Phone Number: 316-218-4630
Checking Students In
Staff members will check students in to create a touchless system. Students need to have temperature checked before proceeding to class if they are arriving for the first time that day.
THE GREAT KINDNESS CHALLENGE WEEK JAN. 25 -29
Monday - Lola Love
The money raised is going to the The Kingman County Humane Society.
(KAKE) - The Kingman County Humane Society has taken nearly two dozen dogs due to a neglect/cruelty case in Barber County.
They are in desperate need of monetary donations for the veterinary work-ups, recovery and the care that these dogs will need to thrive. Also, donations of paper towels, bleach and puppy food would be appreciated.
Anyone wishing to make a donation of money can donate through the humane society's Paypal link. Also, donations can be dropped off at the Swaney Veterinary Clinic at 1015 E. Highway 54 in Kingman.
Also, a GoFundMe account has been set up https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-kchs-with-barber-county-neglected-dogs?qid=9bbd34384af702dedad14501f9699813

4TH & 5TH GRADE ARCHERY ACTIVITY
During the month of January, the 4th and 5th grade students have had the opportunity to participate in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) during their PE class. The NASP program promotes the international-style target archery as part of the in-school curriculum, to improve educational performance and participation in the shooting sports among students in grades 4-12. Throughout the unit, students were able to improve their technique. We had several that were not only able to hit the bulls eye but some were able to hit it consistently! All students who go through this program are eligible to compete in NASP tournaments. If your child is interested in continuing this sport at a competitive level, please contact me and I will be sure to pass on any tournament information to you.
