Manny Pena Academic Field Day 2023

Emmanuel “Manny” Peña’s passion for teaching and learning lives on today in the form of a beloved tradition at Camelot Elementary School.This event is a collaboration between Roosevelt PALS, Gifted and Talented (GT) English students and Ready, Set, Teach students. It also features Design and Technology Academy (DATA), Engineering & Technology Academy (ETA) and Roosevelt students. Camelot students rotate through academic stations “field day” style. Each challenge was created by GT students with core Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) in mind.

Josten's Cap & Gown Orders

Josten's is our vendor for all graduation cap & gown orders. Cap & gowns are required for graduation. The deadline to order is Friday, November 25, 2022. Please visit www.thegraduationcenter.com for all product information and ordering. No orders or payment are taken at Roosevelt High School. Seniors can pick up information packets from Josten's in the AP Office.

FAFSA - January 5th

Filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, which opens Oct. 1, is one of the most important steps students and their families can take to pay for college.


Join us for the next FAFSA Fiesta event on Thursday, January 5th to get assistance from college and financial advisors.


Completing the FAFSA is a graduation requirement.

NEISD 2022 - 2023 Exam Exceptions

The district has updated the Exam Exemption Guidelines for 2022 - 2023 to include absences and tardies.

  • Absences and tardies for the following dates 8/10/2022- 8/19/2022 will not go toward exemptions.

  • An extenuating absence due to a positive covid test will not count toward exemptions.

Each student at Roosevelt High School will receive one free breakfast and one free lunch in the 2022-2023 school year. Any additional breakfasts or lunches will be charged to the student. Students without adequate funds will not be allowed to purchase extra items or meals.

Reminder- NO Outside Food Deliveries

Students are not allowed to have food deliveries to Roosevelt campus at any time (from Uber Eats, grub hub, restaurants, etc). Thank you for your understanding.
