Flocabulary Workshop

Using Flocabulary with students to write academic rhymes

WRAPping with Flocabulary

W-FL BOCES School Librarians, Classroom Teachers (K-12), Music Teachers, Administrators:

In this workshop, participants will learn about Flocabulary and how to best use this digital resource to engage students in instruction. Participants will also learn about WRAP: Writing Rhymes for Academic Purpose, a strategy that teaches students to create their own academic rhymes & lyrics to support their understanding of content.

We strongly enourage librarians to invite teachers to attend this workshop, especially for schools that have Flocabulary subscriptions! If you do not have a subscription, SLS will set up a trial for your and any teachers that come to the workshop.

Lunch is included and will be served from the Effortlessly Healthy food truck!
